At Viswakarma.info, our mission is to empower our global community through shared knowledge, historical depth, and cultural preservation. We invite scholars, professionals, elders, and community members to submit articles, research papers, and contemporary write-ups that document our rich heritage and foster intellectual growth.

1. Types of Articles Accepted

We welcome factual, well-researched, and insightful content that helps members deeply understand the Viswakarma legacy.

  • Scope: Articles can focus on historical analysis, traditional architecture, craft lineage, or contemporary topics relevant to our community. Authors are encouraged to express well-reasoned opinions on past or current themes.
  • Language: Submissions are accepted in English, the author’s preferred regional language, or both. We highly encourage non-English and bilingual submissions. Please Contact / consult with our editorial team, prior to submitting non-English drafts.
  • Author Biography: All submissions must include a brief biography detailing the author’s current position, professional background, academic or institutional affiliations, and a list of previously published books or articles.

2. Copyright, Citations & Attributions

To maintain the highest standards of journalistic and academic integrity, authors must guarantee the originality of their work. Any third-party material must be clearly identified and properly credited.

Text Guidelines

  • Endnotes: Written material or ideas derived from other sources—including paraphrased concepts—must include precise citations in the form of endnotes.
  • Direct Quotations: Direct quotes must be contextualized clearly within the running text.
  • Permissions: If a substantial portion of text from a copyrighted work is used, the author must secure formal written permission from the copyright holder.

Graphics Guidelines

  • Supported Elements: Graphics include figures, data tables, photographs, illustrations, and structural diagrams.
  • Submission Format: High-resolution graphic files must be submitted as separate attachments alongside the draft manuscript.
  • Citations: Any graphic sourced or adapted from a third party must include a comprehensive caption and reference line directly below the asset.

Minimum Citation Requirements

Your references and citation lines must include the following details where applicable:

  • Author(s) name
  • Title of the book, chapter, article, or webpage
  • Name of the magazine, journal, or parent publication
  • Publisher name and corporate location (for books)
  • Exact date or year of publication
  • Complete URL path and date accessed
  • Original figure number, location, or page numbers used

Note on Permissions: Authors bear sole responsibility for obtaining all necessary copyright permissions. You must be able to provide proof of permission upon request. 3. Editorial & Review Process

To ensure clarity, accuracy, and depth, all submissions undergo a structured peer-review process:

  • Acknowledgment & Review: Upon receipt, our staff will formally acknowledge your submission. Manuscripts are evaluated by two or more members of our editorial and review team.
  • Timeline: The review process typically takes a few weeks, depending on the complexity of the manuscript and its alignment with upcoming editorial themes. Authors will be systematically notified of the reviewers’ comments, tracking suggestions, and final publication status.
  • Copyright Assignment: Upon acceptance, published articles become part of the journal’s collective copyright, governed by the standard Author Warranty and Copyright Assignment agreement.
  • Publishing Window: Accepted pieces are typically slated for publication within three to six weeks of final approval.
  • Style Guide & Standards: All manuscripts are strictly copyedited for grammar, syntax, and flow in accordance with The New York Times Manual of Style and Usage and Merriam-Webster’s Collegiate Dictionary. Material changes or significant content revisions will be returned to the author for approval.
